We are looking for a talented UI Designer to work alongside both product and creative teams. The role is heavily weighted towards UI design, but the candidate will need to have strong knowledge of mobile UX and interaction patterns.

While Dozens is helping customers, our B2B product, PI1, is helping the rest of the industry. PI1 is a cloud-based, fully modular, bank-in-a-box platform for end-to-end digital banking services. It integrates multiple, best-in-class fintech solutions into a single API, and comes with an advanced analytics platform. PI1 supports the Dozens mission by bringing PI to profitability sooner, reducing the requirement for external investment in the future, and so completing the loop of our self-sustaining ecosystem.
What the role requires
You’ll play a leading role in creating new products and enhancing the current features. Experience with complex products is a must and any work in the financial sector is a bonus. You’ll need experience on both iOS and Android platforms, and expertise on latest mobile design practices in terms of UI, UX, patterns and micro interactions.
What you’ll do
- Competitor analysis & design trends research
- Sketching, UI Design & Prototyping
- Translate complex information and processes into simple and easy to understand screen designs
- Preparing and presenting work in progress and final designs to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Enhancing the app with visual feedback and smooth micro-interactions where appropriate
- To champion customer feedback, research and data to feed back into the experience
- Ensuring app adheres to general accessibility guidelines
- Applying a new brand style to existing product structure, for B2B offering
Key skills and experience
- Well versed in principles of visual design including visual hierarchy, layout and typography.
- A deep understanding of UI design in mobile applications
- A keen eye for detail.
- An appreciation for, and understanding of Front-End development
- Experience using design tools including Sketch
- Great people skills and a professional attitude – organised, respectful and driven
- A passion and interest in design trends, continuously learning and sharing your subject matter expertise with the wider team. A plus if you have experience in other design mediums.
